About

I'm a product manager currently at Yahoo, previously at Product Madness and Big Fish Games, with an MBA out of Georgetown. That's the resume version. This page is the rest of it.

I grew up with a mom who was drawn to creative pursuits and a dad who was much more practical, and I think that combination is where most of how I approach work comes from — I want things to be well-made, but I also want them to actually work.

I got into product management because it was a way to add real value in the gaming industry, where I started out. Somewhere along the way the role itself became the thing I loved, not just the industry — building products turns out to be the same fundamental job whether it's a mobile slot machine or a search product, and I've come to appreciate that across every company I've worked at since.

Outside of work, I'm a genuinely serious gamer — not a "I play to unwind" gamer, someone with strong opinions about patch notes.

Currently

  • Shipping code at Yahoo alongside engineers, using AI to actually complete tickets — not just directing from the side.
  • Deep into Arc Raiders most evenings: never sure if the next player I run into is a threat or an ally, and there's nothing like extracting with good loot after a run that almost went wrong.
  • Making a real effort to travel more regularly instead of only when it's convenient.

Interests

Games

Right now that's almost entirely Arc Raiders. I love the tension of not knowing whether another player is friend or foe, the intensity of sneaking past a patrol of robots without getting spotted, and that specific relief of getting out alive with a good haul.

Food

My favorite dish is Khoresht Ghaymeh, and I take a well-seasoned steak seriously. I have a real appreciation for the craft of fine dining — I watch a lot of documentaries about Michelin-starred chefs, and shows like The Bear scratch the same itch. There's something inspiring about people who treat their work as a pursuit of perfection.

Travel

My favorite trip so far was Tuscany — the food and the views were something else. I'm trying to make travel a regular habit rather than a rare one.
